Royal Caribbean has temporarily halted the Up, Up & Away helium balloon attraction at Perfect Day at CocoCay due to maintenance needs.

Those who had booked this experience are being informed and refunded by the cruise line. A date for the attraction’s reopening has not been specified by Royal Caribbean.

The Up, Up and Away ride is among a variety of activities available at Perfect Day at CocoCay, the cruise line’s exclusive island in the Bahamas. While operational, the cost for guests ranged from $39 to $99 per individual, varying with the season.

CocoCay also boasts a range of other attractions, such as a water park featuring multiple slides, a zipline stretching 1,600 feet, kayaking excursions, and a tour on a glass-bottom boat.
