The recent interaction between Drake and Kim Kardashian during the L.A. leg of Drake’s “It’s All a Blur Tour” has reignited discussions surrounding Kanye West’s previous claims about the duo.
The Kardashian clan made a notable appearance at Drake’s concert at the Kia Forum on Sunday night (August 13). The attendees included Bad Bunny with his girlfriend Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Tristan Thompson.
A video that has since gone viral captures a moment where Drake, heading to the DJ booth, walks past Kim Kardashian. Kim is seen intently watching Drake and then offering a smile. The video leaves it ambiguous as to whether Drake acknowledged her or not.
Another clip showcased Kim Kardashian passionately singing along to Drake’s “Search & Rescue,” which interestingly samples audio from “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” The audio snippet is of Kim discussing her divorce from Kanye West.
This public display of Kim’s admiration for Drake’s music stirred conversations online, especially in light of Kanye’s past allegations that Kim and Drake had an affair during his marriage to the reality TV star.
Social media was abuzz with reactions. One Twitter user commented, “One thing about Kanye, he never lied about Drake & Kim [skull emojis] never once lied.” Another added, “Kanye West was right about Kim Kardashian, she will do anything for clout and play victim when people are cancelling her or whatever.”
The rumored relationship between Kim Kardashian and Drake was a significant source of tension during her marriage to Kanye West, which ended in a high-profile divorce last year.
Earlier in March, Kim K had accused Kanye of being the originator of the rumor about her alleged affair with Drake. She expressed her feelings of betrayal and hurt over the accusations.
In a past episode of “The Kardashians,” Kim opened up to her mother, Kris Jenner, about the ordeal. She said, “He was the one that started a rumor that said I was hooking up with Drake, having an affair. Our full marriage, he accused me of that publicly.” She further added, “I really can’t wrap my head around how he thinks he is a protector.”
This recent concert interaction has undoubtedly added another layer to the ongoing narrative surrounding the trio.
